Dubbed largest evening of music, the occasion is being held on the Grand Area of the Accra Worldwide Convention Centre (AICC).
In March 2025, the Ghana Music Award Academy Board introduced the nominees for the 26th TGMA, that includes classes corresponding to Artiste of the 12 months, Report of the 12 months, Album of the 12 months, Tune of the 12 months, and Greatest New Artist.
Main the nominations for the coveted “Artiste of the 12 months” award is King Paluta, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Joe Mettle, Kweku Smoke, and gospel collective Crew Eternity.
