     4 remanded over alleged murder at Asiyaw

     The Osino Dis­trict Court docket final Friday remanded 4 individuals in reference to the alleged mur­der of 5 folks at Asiyaw, close to Akwane-Dobro, Nsawam of the Japanese Area.

    Forson, Sedonu, and Prince had been remanded in jail custody, whereas Adzalekor was remanded in police custody.

    They’re anticipated to reappear earlier than court docket subsequent Thursday, and the police stated, “We want to guarantee most people that the accused will likely be taken by way of the due technique of the legislation.”

    In one other improvement, the Northern Regional Police Com­mand has arrested three suspects over alleged weapon smuggling in Savelugu, Northern Area.

    A press release, issued by the Police Public Affairs Directorate, recognized the suspects as Gaba Abdallah Alhassan, Alhassan Abdallah, and Alhassan Abdul Kudus, who had been arrested at their hideouts.

    The police retrieved an AK-47 refile, a sub machine gun, a Smith & Wesson SD40 VE pistol, a single-barrel shotgun, two magazines, 15 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, 13 rounds of pistol ammunition, 27 further rounds, and 5 BB cartridges, in line with the assertion.

    The suspects are in police custody aiding in investiga­tions.
