    Two Achimota old students killed in hit-and-run on highway

    Two alumni from Achimota College have been confirmed lifeless following a hit-and-run accident on the Achimota Freeway.

    The victims, Davida Asante Boateng and Lilian Akorli, have been each alumnae of Achimota School and have been getting back from the college’s annual bonfire night time on March 7.

    In a press release launched on March 8, the Government Board of the Previous Achimotan Affiliation 2024 (OAA 24) introduced the passing of the 2 younger ladies.

    In line with reviews, the victims had left the Achimota College campus to return to the UPSA campus after they have been struck by a black Toyota Corolla whereas crossing the freeway at round 11:30 pm. The driving force who hit them refused to cease, and passers-by took them to the hospital, the place Davida was confirmed lifeless on arrival, whereas Lilian handed away the next day.

    OAA 2024 additional expressed its condolences to the households of the deceased, assuring that “updates on the incident shall be supplied quickly.”

    Achimota College had additionally misplaced an alumna in late February when Joana Deladem was murdered by her boyfriend at KNUST.
