    World Bank to help Ghana create jobs for over 500,000 Ghanaians entering into job market annually

    The World Financial institution has promised to assist Ghana in tackling its youth unemployment problem with a brand new Progress and Jobs Technique to create alternatives for over 500,000 younger individuals coming into the job market yearly.

    The announcement adopted a high-level assembly on the World Financial institution headquarters between the Financial institution’s Managing Director of Operations, Anna Bjerde, and Ghana’s Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

    The 2 leaders mentioned plans to collaborate on the design and implementation of the technique, which focuses on job creation, abilities growth, and inclusive financial progress.

    “This initiative displays our shared precedence of unlocking alternatives for younger individuals,” stated Madam Bjerde.

    “We’re proud to work with Ghana on a method that may create jobs and construct a stronger, extra resilient financial system.”

    Dr. Forson welcomed the assist, emphasizsng the significance of daring, focused interventions to deal with the rising variety of job seekers.

    “This partnership is a serious step ahead in our efforts to supply first rate and sustainable jobs for our youth,” he stated.
