The Director of Communications on the Financial institution of Ghana (BoG), Mr Bernard Otabil, has cautioned journalists and the media towards treating the Central Financial institution’s tales with propaganda spins.
He stated such practices kill investor confidence and still have severe implications for the financial system.
Mr Otabil gave the warning at a two-day coaching workshop organised by the BoG for journalists within the Western and Western North areas in Tarkoradi.
The coaching which ended final Wednesday was a part of the financial institution’s efforts at guaranteeing that the media precisely interpreted and reported on financial points, financial policy choices and their implications.
