The Ellembelle District Police Command in collaboration with anti-galamsey job pressure, have arrested 11 individuals for participating in unlawful mining, popularly generally known as galamsey, at Mile 3, close to Teleku-Bokazo, Western Area.
The suspects, two Chinese language, and 9 Ghanaians, who posed as nationwide safety operatives, had been grabbed throughout a swoop by the police and taskforce, arrange by the District Chief Govt (DCE) for Ellembelle.
It fashioned a part of the nationwide marketing campaign towards unlawful mining, led by the Minister for Lands and Pure Assets, Mr Emmanuel ArmahKo Buah.
