President John Dramani Mahama has nominated 40 individuals for appointment as Metropolitan Municipal District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) for numerous districts within the Ashanti Area.
That is in accordance with the 1992 Structure and Ghana’s native governance legal guidelines.
A press release from the Presidency copied to The Ghanaian Occasions on Tuesday, confirmed that the nominations had been made according to Article 243 of the Structure and the Native Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), as amended by the Native Governance (Modification) Act, 2017 (Act 940).
