GJA opens nominations for 2025 Govt Elections
The Elections Committee of the Ghana Journalists Affiliation (GJA) has introduced the opening of nominations for the Affiliation’s 2025 Nationwide and Regional Govt Elections.
The nominations opened on Friday, Might 16, 2025, and can shut on Friday, Might 30, 2025.
That is contained in a press launch issued by the Elections Committee chaired by Mr Peter Agbeko on Might 16.
“This marks a key milestone within the democratic calendar of the Affiliation, and the Committee urges all eligible members with the eagerness and competence to guide the Affiliation at both the nationwide or regional degree to step ahead and choose up nomination varieties,
The press launch defined that “The Elections Committee is remitted to organise, conduct and supervise the GJA elections, with technical assist from the Electoral Fee of Ghana. The Electoral Fee (EC) of Ghana will oversee the conduct of the elections on Monday, June 30, 2025.
It named the positions to be contested on the nationwide degree as; • President • Vice President • Normal Secretary • Organising Secretary • Treasurer • Public Affairs Officer.
