    Monetary Policy Committee of BoG maintains policy rate at 28%

    The Financial Coverage Committee (MPC) of the Financial institution of Ghana (BoG) has stored the coverage price unchanged at 28 %.

    Chairman of the committee and Governor of the BoG, Dr. Johnson Asiama made the announcement at a press briefing on Could 23, 2025.

    He defined that the committee took the choice in anticipation of inflation coming down quickly. Inflation at present stands at 21.2 %.
