    Adenta Kumi’s 4-month-pregnant wife allegedly suffers miscarriage – Mother claims

    Nana Ama Owusu, mom of Alfred Ababio Kumi, a former New Patriotic Celebration (NPP) parliamentary aspirant for the Adentan constituency, popularly referred to as Adenta Kumi, has shared a distressing account regarding her daughter-in-law.

    In accordance with Madam Owusu, Kumi’s spouse, who was 4 months pregnant on the time, allegedly suffered a miscarriage shortly after her husband’s controversial arrest.

    She claimed the arrest was carried out by eight armed males believed to be operatives of the Nationwide Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

    In an emotionally charged interview with Adom Information, Madam Owusu recounted the traumatic occasions, alleging that the tense and intimidating nature of the arrest brought about extreme emotional misery to Kumi’s spouse, finally resulting in the lack of her being pregnant.

    The revelation was made public by a voice recording aired on Adom Information and later circulated on the social media platform X (previously Twitter), the place it has sparked widespread concern and public discourse.

    Whereas the main points surrounding the arrest stay unclear, the household is looking for an unbiased investigation into the conduct of the officers concerned and the alleged miscarriage.

    Authorities are but to subject an official response to the allegations.

    In an earlier interview with Asaase Radio, Madam Owusu offered additional particulars in regards to the arrest.

    She said that on the time of the incident, Mr Kumi was within the bathe and requested a second to decorate. Nonetheless, the officers allegedly compelled their manner into the room.

    NIB officials stormed the residence. He informed them he was taking a shower, however they broke the door. There have been eight males wielding weapons. They stated they wished to ask him some questions, so that they took him

    She added:

    They arrived round 5:30 a.m., and by 6:00 a.m., that they had taken him away. Since then, I haven’t heard from him. They broke the door with a gun.

    The incident continues to attract consideration as questions mount over the conduct of the arrest and its alleged penalties on Kumi’s household.
