    Mining in Motion: African leaders arrive in Ghana for landmark industry summit

    Delegates for the Mining in Movement Summit have begun arriving in Accra forward of the three-day occasion scheduled to start tomorrow on the Kempinski Resort.

    The summit brings collectively key gamers in Africa’s mining sector to discover the business’s prospects, with a deal with driving native content material, uplifting communities, and making a constructive international influence.

    Starting as early as 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, delegates from Somalia, Liberia, Niger, and different African international locations touched down on the Kotoka Worldwide Airport for the much-anticipated gathering.

    They had been warmly obtained by representatives from the Ministry of International Affairs, in collaboration with officers from the Ministry of Lands and Pure Assets, and escorted to their respective locations in preparation for the summit.

    Among the many early arrivals had been Moses Michael Engadu, Secretary Common of the Africa Minerals Technique Group (AMSG); Agatha Esemo Engandu, his partner; and Patrick Mulindwa Lubega, Chief of Employees at AMSG.

    Representatives from Niger embody Colonel Ousmane Abarchi from the Ministry of Mines and Oumarou Ibrahim Maidadji, Advisor to the Ministry.

    From Liberia, the delegation is led by Wilmot J. Paye, Minister for Mines and Vitality, alongside his advisor, Benedict Yenglee Quato.

    The Democratic Republic of Congo is represented by Godard Motemona Gibolum, Deputy Minister of Mines, and David Mukongo, Advisor to the Minister. From Somalia, the delegation consists of Abdiwahab Abdi Omar, Deputy Minister of Mineral Assets and Petroleum, and Ayan Badal Shahid, Advisor to the Minister.

    Guinea is represented by Kouroma Aboubacar, Vice Minister of Mines and Geology, and Alhousseine Kaba, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea.

    The summit will even be graced by dignitaries, together with President John Dramani Mahama and CEO of Goldbod, Sammy Gyamfi, amongst others.

    Extra delegates from Malawi are anticipated to reach on Monday, June 2, to take part within the high-level engagements.
