    52-Year-Old Man Allegedly inflicts machete Wounds on Rival

    The Accra Circuit Courtroom, presided over by His Honour Kwabena Kodua Obiri-Yeboah, has remanded a 52-year-old metal bender, Kojo Senagbe, into police custody for allegedly inflicting grievous bodily hurt to a 62-year-old ex-service Togolese nationwide, Oliver Zinto.

    Senagbe faces a cost of inflicting illegal hurt, opposite to Part 69 of the Felony Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29). He pleaded not responsible when the case was referred to as earlier than Circuit Courtroom 6 on Could 21, 2025. The case has since been adjourned to June 18, 2025.

    Incident Particulars

    Based on the prosecution led by Chief Inspector Belinda Asante, the violent incident occurred on Could 10, 2025, at about 10:30 p.m. at Group 14 Annex, Lashibi, within the Higher Accra Area. Each the complainant and the accused reside in the identical neighborhood.

    Investigators later retrieved the machete used within the assault. The accused was subsequently charged and introduced earlier than the courtroom.

    Through the courtroom look, Senagbe denied the cost. The prosecution offered its preliminary information, and the courtroom, contemplating the gravity of the offense, ordered that he be remanded in custody.
