    Sam George announces major data bundle increases across all networks – See details

    The Minister for Communications, Digital Know-how and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, has introduced imminent will increase in information bundles throughout the three main telecommunications networks within the nation.

    Addressing a press convention on Tuesday, tenth June, the Minister acknowledged that the choice follows months of stakeholder consultations geared toward creating a roadmap to make sure reasonably priced information pricing for Ghanaians.

    In accordance with Mr Nartey George, following in depth engagement with the Chief Government Officers of Telecel, Airtel Ghana, and MTN Ghana, the next bundle changes will take impact from 1st July 2025:

    Airtel Ghana

    • A ten% improve in all current information bundles.

    • The GH₵400 bundle, which at present gives 195GB of knowledge, will now present 236GB.

    Ghana Telecommunications Firm Restricted (Telecel)

    • A ten% improve in all information bundles.

    • The GH₵400 bundle, which at present gives 90GB, will improve to 250GB from 1st July.

    Scancom Ghana Restricted (MTN)

    • A 15% improve in all current information bundles.

    • The reinstatement of the GH₵399 bundle—beforehand changed by a GH₵350 bundle providing 92.88GB—which is able to now supply 214GB for GH₵399.

    In his remarks, the Minister criticised the earlier Akufo-Addo administration, accusing it of mismanaging the sector over the previous eight years.
