    Govt will continue to invest in TVET- Clement Apaak

    The Deputy Minister of Training, Dr Clement Abas Apaak, says govern­ment will proceed to take a position into Technical, Vocational and Educa­tion, Coaching (TVET) to drive the nation’s improvement.

    He stated the federal government was nicely conscious of the sector’s impression on the economic system, and was make investments­ing in it to allow it realise its full potential.

    Addressing TV college students on the Methodist Technical Institute (MTI) at Kumasi-Kwadaso within the Ashanti Area yesterday, he expressed greatest needs to them of their examination as they put together to formally exit the second cycle establishment.

    He additionally visited some centres similar to Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI), Tweidie Technical Institute (TTI) and Enterprise Secretariat Institute (BSTSI).

    “As you’re starting your first paper immediately, you’ll excel in all of your papers. The president has requested me to convey to you thru the minister that technical, voca­tional schooling is what will propel Ghana to realize the event we wish. And that’s the reason the minister has introduced the institution of three addi­tional technical universities,” he noticed.

    Dr Apaak in his interplay with the learners assured them of presidency’s dedication to supporting Technical, Vocational Training and Coaching (TVET) in Ghana and stated regardless of the trail they elected to take after college, the administration was going to lend its help to them.

    “These of you who need to proceed from this stage, we’ll make provision for you. Those that could need to follow by advantage of what you’ve learnt to date, we’ve additionally launched the Na­tional Apprenticeship Programme which you’ll be able to benefit from,” he assured the scholars.

    Because the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) assumed workplace in January, it has been pledging to offer technical institutes and uni­versities the required infrastruc­tural help and facelift amid struggles with deplorable services by employees and college students alike.
