The Minister for Lands and Pure Assets, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, has condemned the illegal locking up of the Bekwai District Workplace of the Forestry Fee within the Ashanti Area by armed males claiming to be nationwide safety operatives.
The minister described the act as illegal, a risk to public peace, and damaging to the integrity of establishments such because the Nationwide Safety.

On Monday, 28 July, greater than fifteen armed people, allegedly posing as nationwide safety operatives, stormed the Bekwai District Workplace of the Forestry Fee. Armed with pump-action weapons and different weapons, the group forcibly locked the ability, halting all official operations.
