President John Dramani Mahama has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the households of 15 members of the Obogu Savior Church of Ghana who misplaced their lives in a tragic accident on the Accra–Kumasi freeway.
The President described the incident as heartbreaking and a painful reminder of the hazards on Ghana’s roads.
He stated the nation mourns with the bereaved households and stands in solidarity with all the church group.
President Mahama famous that the tragedy reinforces the pressing want to enhance street security and broaden main highways.
He added that this was one of many causes the federal government was prioritizing dualization and rehabilitation initiatives beneath the Large Push infrastructure programme, which incorporates key roads throughout the nation.
He added that the lives of residents have to be protected not solely by enforcement of visitors legal guidelines but in addition by higher street design, correct upkeep, and well timed interventions.

The accident, which claimed 15 lives, occurred earlier this week and concerned members of the Savior Church who had been reportedly travelling for a church occasion.
