    T-bills auction: Government records 75% oversubscription, interest rates decline further

    The federal government recorded 75% oversubscription of treasury payments to the tune of GH¢6.78 billion.

    That is regardless of rates of interest happening.

    In accordance with the public sale outcomes, the federal government accepted GH¢5.48 billion of the full bids tendered by the buyers.  

    Nearly all of the bids got here from the 91-day invoice.

    A little bit over GH¢4.8 billion, representing 71% of the bids have been tendered for the 3-months invoice. The uptake was GH¢4.320 billion.

    For the 182-day invoice, GH¢1.156 billion of the bids have been tendered. The bids accepted have been estimated to the tune of GH¢823.28 million.

    Then again, GH¢774.65 million have been tendered for the 364-day invoice. About GH¢343 million have been tendered.

    In the meantime, the yield on the 91-day invoice went down by 54 foundation factors to 10.29%.

    That of the 182-day invoice additionally fell to 12.35% from 13.22%.

    Equally, the yield on the 364-day invoice decreased by 1006 foundation factors to 13.24%.
