    Evatex reacts to GACL revenue assurance contract controversy

    Evatex Firm Restricted, named in a current controversy surrounding a income assurance contract by the Ghana Airport Firm Restricted (GACL), has responded to current media studies and public commentary surrounding the corporate’s operations.

    In a press assertion issued on behalf of the corporate, authorized counsel dismissed solutions that the corporate might have secured the contract via unfair means.

    It maintained that due course of was adopted and the deal signed after the GACL secured single-source approval from the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), as required by regulation.

    “At no time did Evatex bypass established protocols. All engagements had been performed by way of formal channels and with full transparencу.”

    The Workplace of Particular Prosecutor (OSP) final week invited, arrested and cautioned the previous Board Chairman of the GACL, Paul Adom-Otchere in what the OSP mentioned was in relation to an ongoing corruption and corruption-related investigation into the income assurance contract.

    Adom-Otchere, who has denied any wrongdoing, has since been granted bail.
