The Ekuona Royal Household of Nsuta has introduced that the one week observance for the late Ghanaian music icon, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly generally known as Daddy Lumba, shall be held in Accra on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
This follows the official announcement of his passing to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on the Manhyia Palace.
A consultant of the household disclosed that the ultimate funeral rites will happen in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Area. The precise venue, nevertheless, shall be introduced later.
The household defined that the choice to carry the funeral in Kumasi is according to Daddy Lumba’s royal roots.
