A gold vendor, recognized as Awal, has been shot and killed by unidentified gunmen at Konongo Low Value within the Asante Akyem Central Municipality of the Ashanti Area.
The deadly incident occurred at round 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, because the sufferer was making his manner residence from work.
Chatting with Citi Information on Thursday, August 14, the Meeting Member for the Amerfa Kyekyewere Electoral Space, Samuel Baiden, mentioned the assailants pursued Awal to his residence earlier than opening hearth on him.
Mr Baiden revealed that the attackers fled the scene with a bag the deceased was believed to have used to retailer money and gold.
