    President Mahama thanks Ghanaians for support after helicopter crash tragedy

    President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and the federal government have expressed deep gratitude to Ghanaians and the worldwide group for the help proven following the helicopter crash of August 6, which claimed eight lives, together with two ministers of state.

    In a message issued by the Presidency on Monday, the President stated the nation was moved by the outpouring of condolences, solidarity, and sensible help supplied through the interval of mourning.

    He famous that the sympathy messages, attendance on the state funeral, and acts of kindness in direction of the bereaved households introduced consolation in a troublesome time.

    The assertion counseled people, safety personnel, and company organisations that labored to make sure that the victims got what it described as a “dignified and befitting Ghanaian burial.”

    “As we return to the duties of resetting Ghana and constructing the Ghana we would like, allow us to stay united in prayer, consolation each other, and proceed to help the households affected by this tragedy,” the assertion stated.

    The President within the assertion prayed for the souls of the departed to relaxation in everlasting peace.

    Following the conclusion of the state funeral and the burial of all eight victims, the Chief of Workers has directed that flags at public buildings, which had been flown at half-mast in mourning, be restored to full mast with quick impact.
