    IGP to arrest perpetrators of violence at the Ablekuma North elections – Nana B

    The Nationwide Organiser of the New Patriotic Get together (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly generally known as Nana B, has disclosed that the Inspector Basic of Police (IGP) has pledged to arrest all these concerned within the current violence on the Ablekuma North elections.

    In a Fb publish, Nana B stated the reassurance was given throughout a gathering between political events and the IGP over safety preparations for the upcoming Akwatia by-election, scheduled for September 2, 2025.

    In accordance with him, the NPP delegation, made up of himself, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central Henry Quartey, and DCOP Kwasi Ofori, urged the IGP to take swift motion towards the perpetrators of the violence.

    He defined that their photographs had been broadly captured in images and movies, and their arrest would function a warning to others planning to trigger disturbances in future elections.

    “The IGP assured the NPP that the police will very quickly arrest all of the perpetrators of the Ablekuma North elections violence,” Nana B said.

    He additional disclosed that the police plan to deploy about 5,000 officers to make sure sufficient safety throughout all polling stations in the course of the Akwatia by-election.

    The NPP, nonetheless, referred to as on the police to not apply the legislation selectively.
