    Blackstar Experience partners AfCFTA, ATP to host Creatives Connect Afrika in November

    Ghana will host the maiden version of Creatives Join Afrika from twenty fifth to thirtieth November 2025 on the La Palm Royal Seashore Resort in Accra.

    The occasion, which types a part of the Blackstar Expertise initiative, is being organised in partnership with the African Continental Free Commerce Space (AfCFTA) Secretariat and Africa Tourism Companions (ATP). 

    It was formally launched on twenty second August 2025 on the AfCFTA Secretariat in Accra.

    The programme is anticipated to carry collectively members from throughout Africa’s tourism, tradition and inventive arts sectors. 

    Key figures current on the launch included Emily Mburu-Ndoria, Director of Commerce in Providers, Funding, Mental Property Rights and Digital Commerce on the AfCFTA Secretariat; Francis Doku, West Africa Consultant for ATP, Rex Owusu Marfo, Coordinator of the Black Star Expertise; and the MC, Samuel Agyemang, a broadcaster.

    Ghana has secured the proper to host the occasion for 3 years, after which it should rotate to a different African nation.

    The goals of Creatives Join Afrika embody advancing continental integration within the artistic and cultural industries, selling intra-African collaboration and commerce in movie, music and trend, constructing capability for business development by equipping creatives and entrepreneurs with expertise and instruments to leverage AfCFTA alternatives, figuring out and addressing obstacles to commerce in these sectors, facilitating enterprise partnerships and co-productions, strengthening non-public sector collaboration, and celebrating Africa’s wealthy heritage by way of the humanities.

    In line with organisers, Creatives Join Afrika builds on the success of the AfCFTA Tourism, Artistic and Cultural Industries Discussion board, which has been held in Gaborone, Botswana over the previous three years beneath the African Tourism Management Discussion board. The brand new platform expands its scope to combine tourism with the broader artistic and cultural industries.

    Highlights of the programme will embody masterclasses in movie, music and trend, with periods specializing in commerce guidelines, market entry, intra-African alternatives, content material improvement, financing, manufacturing, distribution, and the regulatory atmosphere for artistic industries.

    Different areas of focus shall be visa and mobility challenges, the position of creatives in driving intra-African commerce, storytelling, cultural diplomacy, artistic infrastructure, rising applied sciences, the gig financial system and financing for the tourism, cultural and inventive sectors.
