    NDC confirms readiness for Tamale Central by-election

    The Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) has declared its full preparedness for the forthcoming by-election within the Tamale Central constituency, scheduled for October 30, after the shut of nominations for potential parliamentary aspirants.

    Talking on Channel One TV on Sunday, 24 August, the celebration’s Deputy Director of Elections and IT, Rashid Tanko-Laptop, assured that every one preparations had been continuing in line with plan and consistent with the celebration’s inner procedures.

    “We’re prepared for the 30 October by-election in Tamale Central. As of in the present day, nominations for aspirants have formally closed,” he stated.

    He famous that the following stage would happen on Thursday, August 28, when people who had picked nomination kinds can be required to submit them formally.

    “We are going to now wait till Thursday, 28 August, to see who submits their kinds to validate their intention to contest,” Mr Tanko-Laptop defined.
