    Akwatia: 10 suspects arrested, 9 weapons seized in security crackdown ahead of by-election

    The Japanese South Regional Police Command has arrested ten (10) suspects and seized 9 (9) firearms in a collection of safety operations in Akwatia, Japanese Area, forward of the 2nd September by-election.

    The retrieved weapons embrace eight (8) pump-action shotguns and one (1) domestically manufactured single-barrel gun, together with a number of rounds of dwell cartridges.
