    Patron donates stationery to Street Academy

     A patron of the Avenue Acad­emy, a sports activities and tradition organisation, Nii Boye Abbey, has donated stationery and different studying materials to the academy.

    The gesture was to help chil­dren of the academy for the brand new tutorial calendar that opens from subsequent week as faculties resume from their third time period breaks.

    The gadgets, price GH¢68,000, included 8,000 train books, 1,200 items every of pens, pencils, rulers, 800 mathematical units, 4,000 Word 3 Train books and 4,000 items of erasers.

    Making the presentation, Nii Boye Abbey defined that the presentation was his method of celebrating his 61st birthday as patron of the Avenue Academy.

    “I’m a patron of this academy who seeks the welfare of road and disadvantaged youngsters. Since a few of them have been enrolled in formal schooling, I deemed it match to help their lo­gistical wants as a result of they can’t afford them. I hope these would go an extended solution to help all our girls and boys at school and people within the academy.”

    Ataa Lartey, the Director of the academy, mentioned the donation was a lift for the academy’s ‘Again to Faculty Challenge’ to ensure that over 100 youngsters of Avenue Acad­emy get pleasure from higher schooling within the classroom as 2025-2026 tutorial yr begins.

    “Administration of the academy is extraordinarily grateful to Nii Abbey for this gesture. It should go an extended solution to help the kids of their studying. We hope these youngsters come out as accountable adults in future and testify about how helps from people and organisations performed large function of their upbringing,” he added.
