    Greater Accra records 115 out of 140 investment projects in 2024

    The Better Accra area recorded 115 out of 140 tasks registered as investments by the Ghana Funding Promotion Middle in 2024.

    Based on the GIPC, the Ashanti area adopted with 10 tasks.

    The Jap, Central, and Western areas got here third, 4th, and fifth, respectively, with six, 4, and two tasks.

    Sources of Investments

    China, with 49 tasks, was the main supply of registered tasks by quantity.

    The Netherlands, with a International Direct Funding (FDI) worth of US$265.33 million, was the main supply by FDI worth.

    From January to December 2024, 26 firms introduced in further fairness totaling US$34.67 million.

    Fifty-four wholly Ghanaian-owned tasks with a complete mission worth of US$1.36 billion have been registered in 2024.

    These tasks have been registered within the constructing and building, export commerce, basic commerce, manufacturing, tourism and companies sectors.

    Renewal of GIPC Registration

    From January to December, 694 firms renewed their registration with the Centre.

    Underneath the GIPC Act 865, firms are required to resume their certificates after each two years.

    Out of the 694 firms that renewed their registrations, 455 have been wholly international firms, 165 have been Joint Enterprise firms involving Ghanaians and 74 have been wholly Ghanaian firms. (
