    Chief Justice removal probe committee submits first report to President Mahama

    President John Dramani Mahama suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo on Tuesday, 22 April, in accordance with Article 146(6) of the 1992 Structure, following session with the Council of State.

    Consistent with constitutional necessities, the President constituted a committee to analyze the petitions. The members are: Justice Gabriel Scott Pwamang, Justice of the Supreme Court docket (Chairman); Justice Samuel Kwame Adibu-Asiedu, Justice of the Supreme Court docket; Daniel Yaw Domelevo, Former Auditor-Common; Main Flora Bazwaanura Dalugo of the Ghana Armed Forces; and Professor James Sefah Dzisah, Affiliate Professor on the College of Ghana.
