    President Mahama removes Chief Justice Torkonoo from office

    President John Dramani Mahama has eliminated the Chief Justice, Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkonoo, from workplace with rapid impact.

    The elimination was based mostly on the advice of a committee arrange beneath Article 146 of the 1992 Structure to research a petition filed by a Ghanaian citizen, Mr Daniel Ofori.

    Based on a press release from the Presidency, the committee, after its work, discovered that the Chief Justice had engaged in acts of said misbehaviour as outlined in Article 146(1).
