A person who sparked violent protests after burning the Quran has been shot useless in Sweden.
Salwan Momika was killed in an condo in Södertälje, Stockholm, on Wednesday night, prosecutors informed the BBC.
Unrest broke out after Mr Momika set fireplace to a replica of Islam’s holy e-book outdoors Stockholm Central Mosque in 2023.
Stockholm police stated in a press release that 5 folks had been arrested after a person in his 40s was shot useless in a single day.
Officers had been known as to a suspected capturing at an condo in Hovsjö round on Wednesday.
The person, who has not been named by police, was discovered with gunshot wounds and brought to hospital. —BBC
