     Sung Beila Basis, a non-governmental organisa­tion based mostly within the Higher East Area, has organsied a mentor­ship programme for over 440 women within the Kusaug space of the area.

    The mentorship programme entails guiding them to make in­shaped profession decisions and studying tips on how to stability their residence respon­sibilities with their schooling.

    The scholars are from colleges in Bawku, Zebila, Pusiga , Garu and Tempane , all within the Higher East Area, and the programme sought to unlock their potentials and form them for brighter future in order that they grow to be property to their households and society basically.

    The Founder and Govt Director of the inspiration, Zenabu Awinbe Salifu, underlined that mentorship programme was to assist the women perceive the significance of selecting the best profession path and the importance of pursuing their schooling to the fullest, including that the “Mentors engaged with the women in discus­sions about profession potentialities, expertise growth, and the impor­tance of self-belief in reaching long-term targets.”

    One other important facet of the programme, she added, was instructing the women tips on how to juggle family duties, resembling chores, with their tutorial commitments, saying “Many younger women in rural areas usually face the problem of balancing schooling with residence duties, which may generally result in early faculty dropouts.”

    Emphasising on the significance of supporting younger women of their instructional journey, particularly in rural and underserved communi­ties, Ms Salifu talked about that the programme ensured that the women understood their potential and the necessity to stability their schooling and residential duties successfully in order that they didn’t fall out of college.

    Moreover, Ms Salifu said that the inspiration would need the women to understand that schooling was a key to unlocking their future and that with the best help, they will obtain their targets in life and realise their full potentials.

    She stated the mentorship programme additionally highlighted the significance of equal alternatives for each genders in schooling, including that over 340 boys joined the occasion to strengthen the founda­tion’s perception that encouraging each girls and boys to succeed equally in schooling fosters an atmosphere of mutual respect and unity throughout the neighborhood.
