    Elmina Referee Attack: Police arrest Elmina Sharks GM, hunt for more suspects

    The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in reference to an attack on a referee throughout a Division One soccer match on Sunday, sixteenth February 2025, at Elmina.

    This follows an preliminary investigation into the incident, which occurred throughout a match between Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks on the Nduom Sports activities Stadium.

    A quick assertion from the Police revealed that the suspect, Kelvin Aboagye, who’s the Basic Supervisor of Elmina Sharks, together with others, attacked the referee and different supporters on the finish of the sport.
