    ACEYE releases IGIPTEP report, assessing the performance of Ghana’s government institutions

    The Africa Centre for Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment (ACEYE) has launched a complete report evaluating the efficiency of presidency establishments in Ghana.

    Titled the Index of Authorities Establishments Efficiency In the direction of Financial Prosperity (IGIPTEP), the report assesses numerous establishments based mostly on indicators akin to service supply high quality, transparency, monetary administration, and public engagement.

    In accordance with the findings, the Ministry of the Inside ranked because the top-performing establishment, scoring 80.8%. The Financial institution of Ghana adopted carefully with a rating of 78.4%, whereas the Ministry of Native Authorities and Rural Growth secured third place with 77.6%.

    • Ghana Grid Firm (GRIDCo): 41.2%
    • Ghana Armed Forces (GAF): 41.8%
    • Ghana Airport Firm Restricted (GACL): 44.2%
    • Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations: 45%
    • Ministry of Training: 48%
    • Ghana Water Firm Restricted (GWCL): 48.6%
    • Ministry of Youth and Sports activities: 49.4%
    • Ghana Immigration Service: 49.6%
    • Ministry of Defence: 49.6%

    Dr. Fred McMahon, a Resident Fellow on the Fraser Institute, and Joyce Lee from the Atlas Community referred to as on Ghana’s authorities to concentrate on bettering its efficiency on the IGIPTEP index. They emphasised that doing so could be important for advancing institutional growth and safeguarding the financial freedom of Ghanaians.

    ACEYE Co-Founder and CEO Emmanuel Acquah expressed optimism concerning the report’s potential affect.
