    Agri-Impact Limited leads HAPPY Programme consortium to honour women in agribusiness

    Agri-Impression Restricted, a number one agribusiness agency, has spearheaded the celebration of ladies making outstanding contributions to agribusiness via the Harnessing Agricultural Productiveness and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) Programme.

    The occasion, held on tenth March 2025 at Aglow Processing Manufacturing facility in Potsin, Central Area, introduced collectively stakeholders from numerous sectors, together with members of the HAPPY Programme, college students from Potsin T.I. Ahmadiyya SHS, members of the Federation of Individuals with Disabilities (GFD), and conventional leaders.

    The gathering aimed to focus on the important position of ladies in driving agricultural innovation and development.

    Underneath the theme “Accelerating Inclusion of Younger Girls and Individuals with Disabilities to Drive Innovation and a Thriving Agribusiness Sector,” the occasion underscored the necessity for higher participation of marginalised teams in agribusiness.

    Juliana Asante-Dartey, Deputy CEO of Agri-Impression Restricted, counseled the dedication of younger ladies concerned within the programme, encouraging them to think about agribusiness as a viable profession path.

    Equally, Maamie Nyamekye Hutchful Nortey, a board member of Agri-Impression Restricted and researcher on the College of Ghana, highlighted innovation as a key driver of progress, notably when ladies play an lively position in shaping the sector.

    Ama Gyan, Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion Supervisor at Agri-Impression Restricted, urged younger ladies to stay centered and work collaboratively to beat business challenges.

    She emphasised that empowerment is about fostering resilience and mutual assist reasonably than defiance.

    Nana Boakye, Government Director of Aglow Farms Restricted, expressed his pleasure about celebrating the impression of ladies in agriculture, stressing the necessity to acknowledge their achievements and maintain progress in direction of gender equality.

    About HAPPY Programme

    The HAPPY Programme is a four-year initiative in partnership with the Mastercard Basis, aimed toward creating 326,000 dignified work alternatives for Ghanaian youth, notably younger ladies and individuals with disabilities.

    The programme focuses on the rice, soybean, tomato, and poultry worth chains and is applied by an eight-member consortium, together with establishments corresponding to Newage Agric Options, the Nationwide Service Authority (NSA), and Ghana Enterprises Company (GEA).

    Since its launch in December 2023, it has generated over 138,000 job alternatives in simply 15 months, considerably advancing youth employment in agribusiness.

    Because the programme continues to increase, stakeholders reaffirmed their dedication to fostering an inclusive agribusiness atmosphere that gives sustainable employment and empowerment for Ghanaian youth.

    With a powerful emphasis on innovation and collaboration, Agri-Impression Restricted and its companions stay devoted to driving development and transformation throughout the agricultural sector.
