Director of Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture and Agribusiness, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, has introduced plans by the federal government for the graduation of the Youth Agriculture Property Programme, which is geared toward tackling youth unemployment by way of agriculture.
He made this pronouncement throughout his deal with on the CropLife Ghana Annual Common Assembly for CEOs and Managing Administrators, held on the Mensvic Grand Lodge in Accra.
In accordance with Dr. Otokunor, the programme is designed to create 1000’s of steady employment alternatives for younger individuals within the agricultural sector, notably in high-value crops, poultry, and agro-processing.
