    AI Collective launches first African Chapter in Ghana to advance inclusive AI development

    The AI Collective has formally launched its first African chapter in Ghana, marking a big milestone within the organisation’s international enlargement. The newly fashioned AI Collective Ghana Chapter goals to advertise accountable and inclusive adoption of synthetic intelligence for social influence, financial progress, and sustainable improvement throughout Ghana and the broader area.

    Talking on the launch, Dr. Kwami Ahiabenu, Chapter Lead and a member of the AI Collective International Enlargement Group, mentioned:

    To commemorate the launch, the Ghana Chapter hosted its inaugural occasion on Thursday, July 3, beneath the theme: “AI for Ghana’s Public Sector – Driving Innovation & Effectivity.” The occasion, held at Rising Public Leaders Ghana in East Legon, Accra, introduced collectively over 60 key stakeholders together with public sector leaders, technologists, policymakers, and improvement companions.

    Members explored how synthetic intelligence can revolutionise public governance and enhance service supply. The interactive session centered on sensible methods for integrating AI instruments into Ghana’s public establishments to spice up innovation, effectivity, and transparency.

    Catherine McMillan, Founding Director of the AI Collective, famous:
