    All NEIP staff suspended temporarily; legal complications cited

    The administration of the Nationwide Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has directed all employees to not report back to work from February 24, attributable to unresolved legal and administrative issues concerning employment and salary payments.

    In an announcement issued on Friday, 21 February, NEIP defined that regardless of in depth efforts to deal with considerations concerning employees employment, the authorized complexities concerned have made it inconceivable to utilise operational funds for wage funds.

    In consequence, it said that every one employment issues should comply with the suitable authorized procedures to stop additional issues.

    Till these points are absolutely resolved, solely particular employees whose providers are deemed important could also be referred to as upon to renew work.

    Moreover, all employees in possession of NEIP property are required to return them to the HR Officer by the shut of labor on Tuesday, 25 February 2025.
