The African Women Leaders Community (AWLN) Ghana Chapter, has expressed fear concerning the devastating affect of unlawful mining (galamsey) and known as for its quick finish, describing it as a menace the nation has “no motive to proceed.”

Talking on behalf of the community, AWLN Ghana Chapter Chairperson, Dr Charity Binka, indicated that, “We now have come to honour the departed for the sacrifice they made.
