Former Vice President and 2024 NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, together with the Majority Chief, has been granted entry to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Celebration (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi.
Chairman Wontumi was not too long ago transferred to the custody of the Nationwide Intelligence Bureau (NIB) following his detention by the Financial and Organised Crime Workplace (EOCO) as a part of an ongoing prison investigation.
