The Financial institution of Ghana (BoG) has introduced the creation of a brand new digital credit score space below its Non–Financial institution Monetary Service (NBF) supervision.
A press release issued on August 29, 2025 famous that the initiative is a part of measures to broaden entry to monetary system, with the view of selling monetary inclusion.
“The Financial institution of Ghana hereby designates a brand new service – DIGITAL CREDIT SERVICES – as a Non-Financial institution Monetary Service below the First Schedule of Act 774”, it stated.
