The Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has disclosed that cupboard has accepted the proposed personal sector participation within the Electrical energy Firm of Ghana (ECG) and Northern Electrical energy Distribution Firm (NEDCo).
He added that the Legislative Instrument has been subsequently submitted to Parliament.
“Cupboard has already accepted personal sector participation, and now we have submitted the Legislative Instrument to Parliament to allow aggressive procurement for energy crops. These are important steps towards bringing transparency and sustainability to the sector”, Dr. Forson mentioned in a Fb publish.
He insisted that the Power Compact has come on the proper time with the potential to make a long-lasting affect if the method will not be delayed.
