    Call for load shedding timetable misplaced; power generation meets peak demand – Energy Ministry

    The Ministry of Power and Inexperienced Transition has refuted calls by the Minority in Parliament for the publication of a load administration timetable, stating that Ghana’s present energy era capability is ample to fulfill nationwide demand, even throughout peak hours.

    In a press launch issued on Monday, Could 19, the Ministry described the Minority’s name as “misplaced,” insisting that there isn’t any justification for a load-shedding timetable at the moment.

    “The present energy era capability is ample to fulfill peak demand; therefore, there isn’t any foundation for a load-shedding timetable at the moment,” parts of the discharge indicated.

    The discharge is available in response to the Minority in Parliament urging the federal government to launch a transparent and reliable load shedding timetable, citing ongoing erratic energy provide affecting households, companies, and important companies.

    At a press convention, they criticised the federal government’s “misleading silence” and accused the Ministry of Power and the Electrical energy Firm of Ghana (ECG) of mismanaging what they described as an unannounced return to “dumsor.”

    The discharge, signed by the Spokesperson and Head of Communications on the Power Ministry, Richmond Rockson, Esq. acknowledged the continuing challenges throughout the energy distribution system, which it says have been inherited, however emphasised that each authorities and business gamers are working diligently to resolve these points.

    “The Authorities stays dedicated to the constant provision of electrical energy to the Ghanaian folks,” it added.
