    To mark World Atmosphere Day and the Worldwide Day for the Battle Towards Unlawful, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing 2025, the Chamber of Aquaculture has taken a serious step towards inclusive and sustainable aquaculture growth.

    The Chamber in collaboration with the UK’s Division for Atmosphere, Meals and Rural Affairs (Defra) and with help from the Danish Embassy, organized a coaching workshop for girls fish farmers from the Oti, Volta, and Afram Plains areas.

    The coaching targeted on strengthening the capability of girls smallholder farmers in aquaculture biosecurity, illness identification, local weather change adaptation, and chilly chain administration.

    The initiative fashioned a part of the UK-funded Animal Well being System Strengthening (AHSS) programme beneath the Official Improvement Help (ODA) scheme.
