    President John Dramani Mahama has despatched a hearty congratulations to the nationwide crew, the Black Stars on the 5-0 win in opposition to their Chadian counterparts.

    The Stars walloped the Les Saos on the Accra Sports activities Stadium to the delight of the mammoth crowd that gathered to witness the vital World Cup qualifier.

    The ecstasy that was engendered by the uncommon present of ability by the Black Stars, who till at present have been despised by many a Ghanaian soccer fanatic, appears to have reached the seat of presidency.

    The Black Stars’ victory propelled Ghana to the highest of Group I, setting the stage for a pivotal showdown with Madagascar on Monday.

    From kickoff, Ghana’s high-pressing technique left Chad reeling. The breakthrough arrived early when Antoine Semenyo capitalized on a goalmouth scramble, slotting dwelling after a collection of ricochets within the field.

    Jordan Ayew, although, squandered a gilt-edged likelihood moments later, ballooning a shot over the bar from point-blank vary.

    The Black Stars’ relentless stress quickly paid dividends. Inaki Williams rose to fulfill a pinpoint cross from Kinglsey Schindler with a thumping header, fulfilling his pre-match pledge to attain.

    Coach Otto Addo rotated his squad late within the sport, introducing debutant Lawrence Agyekum and substitutes Kamaldeen Sulemana, Francis Abu, Jerome Opoku, and Jerry Afriyie. Although Mohammed Kudus and Afriyie spurned late probabilities, the harm was already performed.

    This resounding victory marked Ghana’s first five-goal haul since a 2020 pleasant in opposition to Qatar and Chad’s worst aggressive defeat since 2015.
