    Ghanaian rapper and music government, D-Black, has resurfaced on-line with a narration of a controversial encounter involving former Ghana Submit CEO, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly often called Obour.

    Talking on a 2024 version of his Uncut Present, the Black Avenue Muzik boss alleged that Obour misled him concerning a GH¢3 million fund that had reportedly been allotted by the then NDC authorities to help the artistic arts trade.

    Based on D-Black, the incident dates again to 2013, when Obour knowledgeable him that the federal government meant to supply GH¢3 million to boost the sector. Obour, he mentioned, assured him that the cash could be used to revamp the royalty system, set up studios for rising artistes, and help different trade wants.

    And when it got here to accountability, he instructed us the cash had been used to analysis the feasibility of the music and artistic arts trade, and the way it impacts the nation’s GDP. He claimed GH¢1.6 million had been spent on analysis

    The allegations have reignited conversations on-line about transparency and accountability within the administration of funds meant to help Ghana’s artistic sector.

    D-Black mentioned he felt betrayed and deceived by Obour, who didn’t ship on his guarantees and wasted the cash on analysis that he didn’t seek the advice of the musicians about.

    The MUSIGA funds controversy has been one of the crucial heated points within the Ghanaian music trade, as many musicians have accused Obour of mismanaging and embezzling the cash.

    In the meantime, Obour misplaced the NPP parliamentary primaries for the Asante Akyem South constituency for the second time.

    The primaries, which had been held on January 27, noticed Obour come second to Asante Boateng, who received by a big margin.
