    DTI graduates new cohort of skilled mastercraft artisans to boost Ghana’s informal sector

    The Design and Know-how Institute (DTI), in partnership with the Mastercard Basis, has graduated a brand new class of Mastercraft Individuals and Artisans educated below the “Precision High quality at Work” initiative.

    The ceremony, held on the Nationwide Theatre in Accra, marked the completion of Part Two of the challenge aimed toward elevating the requirements and competitiveness of Ghana’s casual sector.

    Talking on the occasion, DTI Founder and President, Constance Swaniker, hailed the graduates as a “new cadre of extremely expert, quality-driven artisans” prepared to rework the casual sector and combine it into the bigger Ghanaian economic system.

    She emphasised that the coaching went past technical expertise, equipping contributors with the mindset, self-discipline, and professionalism wanted to fulfill international requirements.

    “The casual sector employs hundreds of thousands and stays the spine of on a regular basis financial exercise in Ghana,” Ms. Swaniker famous. “By adopting precision, high quality, and integrity, our artisans can drive industrialisation, create jobs, and construct a globally aggressive Ghanaian model.”

    The initiative, supported by strategic companions such because the Registrar Common’s Division and Constancy Financial institution, focuses on serving to artisans formalise their companies, entry finance, adjust to requirements, and embrace steady upskilling.
