    The Chief Government Officer of the Digital Cash Issuers Chamber of Ghana, Dr. Ken Ashigbey, has welcomed the scrapping of the 1.0% Digital Transaction Levy (E-levy), saying, the introduction of the levy was a large error dedicated by the previous finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

    Parliament has unanimously accredited the abolishment of the E-levy, bringing immense reduction to about 23 million subscribers of cellular cash.
