Businessman Ernesto Taricone has publicly disassociated himself from a web based funding platform often known as GCB Investments.

In an announcement, Taricone, a shareholder of Trassaco Property Improvement Ltd, harassed that he has no reference to the platform and urged Ghanaians to ignore any claims linking him to it.

His clarification follows the circulation of a web based marketing campaign selling GCB Investments as a monetary breakthrough for Ghana. Taricone cautioned the general public to deal with such claims as false and keep away from partaking with the scheme.

The businessman defined that the platform is designed to mislead folks with guarantees of economic independence and fast returns, luring unsuspecting people into paying cash to fraudsters.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, his lawyer, Martin Kpebu, bolstered the warning in a Fb put up, describing GCB Investments as a rip-off.
