    FAGE serves free refreshments to thousands at state funeral of eight national heroes

    The Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE) demonstrated neighborhood spirit on Friday by offering complimentary refreshments to 1000’s of mourners who gathered on the Black Star Sq. for the state funeral of eight distinguished nationwide heroes, together with Dr. Omane Boamah and Dr. Murtala Mohammed, Defence and Surroundings ministers respectively.

    The eight are;

    1. Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah – Minister for Defence

    2. Dr Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed – Minister for Surroundings, Science and Know-how; MP for Tamale Central

    3. Mohammed-Muniru Limuna – Appearing Deputy Nationwide Safety Coordinator

    4. Samuel Sarpong – Vice Chairman, Nationwide Democratic Congress

    5. Samuel Aboagye – Deputy Director-Basic, NADMO

    6. Sqn. Ldr. Peter Baafemi Anala – Ghana Armed Forces

    7. F/O Manaen Twum Ampadu – Ghana Armed Forces

    8. Sgt Ernest Addo Mensah – Ghana Armed Forces

    The exporters’ affiliation, in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority and Pleasure FM, distributed free coconuts, freshly lower fruits, and fruit juices to the large crowd that converged on the enduring venue to pay their remaining respects to the fallen heroes.

    Key contributors to the mission included Blue Skies, the Coconut Federation, and Cocobenz, whose assist was instrumental in making the refreshment initiative attainable.

    Talking concerning the initiative, FAGE President Davies Korboe defined that the choice to assist the funeral proceedings was pushed by a way of nationwide responsibility and sensible concern for the wellbeing of attendees.

    “We recognised that mourners could be spending over 4 hours on the ceremony, and it was essential to make sure they remained nourished and correctly hydrated all through this solemn event,” Korboe said.
