    Fire razes Kedjebi-Asato SHS dormitory, leaving several students collapsed

    A Tuesday morning fireplace has ravaged a room in one of many boys’ dormitories at Kadjebi-Asato Senior Excessive Faculty within the Oti area, leaving a number of college students collapsing from exhaustion as they tried to salvage what they might, JoyNews’ Oti Regional Correspondent, Peter Senoo, reported.

    The blaze, which reportedly began round 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, swept via the dormitory room, destroying all belongings and burning the roofing construction.

    By the point the flames had been contained, nothing within the affected room may very well be saved.

    In line with the correspondent, efforts by the Ghana Nationwide Fireplace Service had been severely constrained, as personnel who responded to the misery name had been unable to deploy an operational fireplace tender.

    The equipment within the Kadjebi district is at the moment out of fee, leaving firefighters to depend on restricted various strategies to handle the scenario.

    The incident induced panic amongst college students, with dozens passing out from fatigue and nervousness as they tried to help in controlling the fireplace and evacuating private gadgets from close by rooms.
